Dave has been part of the Laser Plumbing Whenuapai family for almost 20 years, and in that time, he's become something of a local celebrity! Chances are, if you've been a customer for a while, you've met Dave, and probably requested him again.

Known for his wealth of knowledge, friendly nature, and genuine care for every job he tackles, Dave is the kind of plumber who always goes the extra mile. Whether it's a simple repair or a complex plumbing challenge, Dave takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Q: What's the strangest thing you've found in a drain?
A: Keys and an ID tag lodged in an S-bend. Still not sure how they got there, and honestly, I'm not sure I want to know!

Q: Do plumbers ever get grossed out?
A: If you stay focused on the job and visit your "happy place," you're usually fine. But every now and then, when you're right in the thick of it… yes, even plumbers can get grossed out!

Q: What's your superpower?
A: Eating. Years of on-the-go lunches have turned it into a finely tuned skill.

Q: What's the most common plumbing myth?
A: That plumbers are expensive. Plumbing is a highly technical trade that requires years of training, experience, and problem-solving skills. Every job is different, and there's usually a lot more going on behind the scenes than people realise.

Q: Coffee or tea before an early morning callout?
A: Coffee. And then another coffee. Possibly followed by a third—just to be safe.

Q: What's your favourite part of the job?
A: Looking back at a job well done and knowing the customer is happy. And then lunch. Definitely lunch.

Q: If your pipes could talk, what would they say?

A: "Please don't look at me like that... I've seen things."
